PRAYER A VITAL PART OF OUR MINISTRY

We mostly minister in Kilmarnock Prison (the only private prison in Scotland) and Carstairs State Hospital a place for the criminally insane. We also do one to one visits of men who we have helped in the past and who have moved on from Kilmarnock to other prisons or have been released. Our drop-in's provide fellowship and a place of contact for men and women coming out of prison.

A bi-monthly prayer/newsletter letter is available on request detailing what areas you can pray for.

We have a number of prayer cells you could either join or host one in your area.

VOLUNTEER

Kilmarnock Prison Numbers attending the groups in Kilmarnock have been rather large so we've needed to split the group into two. We now have two groups on a Tuesday and one on a Wednesday. It has been suggested we should restrict the numbers further but scripture suggests "We should pray to the Lord of the harvest for more workers"! Perhaps you sense God's call to be involved in prison ministry during the day time and you live within a twenty mile radius of Kilmarnock Prison then we'd be pleased to hear from you.

Carstairs State Hospital We have a good number of volunteers going in however we would welcome more. If you feel you could go in as part of the team please don't hesitate to contact us.
